Fail. Fail. Fail. No eggs or biscuits allowed as side orders, so we ordered 3 meals for 2 people & still didn't get what we wanted. For example, I had to order a pancake meal, with a $3 side of bananas in order to get banana pancakes (unless I ordered the banana pancake meal - which didn't come with eggs as I wanted). The bacon was over cooked, country ham was saltless, pancakes were doughy. But the real highlight was getting a pubic hair on top of bowl of $3 banana slices, then being told not to worry, they discussed it & decided to take that off the bill. WORST DINING EXPERIENCE IN NMB. Upon receiving the bill, we almost failed to notice that one meal was charged twice.

Ate here with my wife, who loves breakfast. My simple order of eggs, bacon, and toast was ok, although the toast was pre-buttered with something that was certainly not butter. My wife ordered crab cake eggs Benedict and her eggs were over-done, the crab cake wasn't very good, and she described her pancake as leathery. Service was a little slow considering the large staff to customer ratio at that time. It was the beginning of summer and there may have been a lot of new staff.

Owned by the same family that operates Dino's House of Pancakes. Similar menu minus the Greek influence. Very friendly service and reasonable prices. Gluten-free pancake option, which is nice for those who need it. Another good vacation/family spot.

Gluten free pancakes are available for 50 cents up charge for each pancake. They are a little dry but not bad.

We've gone by this place many times during previous stays in Myrtle Beach. The staff is very friendly and the menu is all numbered - they have selections to 100 and then some that aren't numbered.(I figured they just got tired after getting to #100). The selections aren't all in sequence but some are in groups - like the omellettes - they all seemed to be numbered in the 30's and 40's. Not a big deal - and can even be a little game to see who can find the number the quickest if someone calls out a random number. (#100 took me a while to find). The food was good and came fairly quickly. There's only one flavor of syrup and they stick the dispenser in a little bowl in an attemp to be tidy. Every time you pick up the syrup dispenser, the bowl comes with it - very annoying after a few times. I'd probably give this place 4 stars except for the lack of any service by the wait staff to remove dishes from the table as we finished with them. As is typical with these breakfast places, each patron always seems to get 3 to 4 dishes when their order is served - one dish with toast, one for pancakes, another for eggs and potatoes, etc. A table and booth sized for 4 people can barely hold the dishes for 2 patrons. I'd hate to see what the table would look like if there were orders delivered for 4 people. The waitress was very diligent in refreshing coffee and bringing soda refills - but she just would not take an empty dish. She'd pass our table several times, we kept nudging empties closer to the edge, but she never retrieved a thing. Yes, we could have asked, but then, should we really have to? The entire place operated in this fashion as we noticed other tables get the same lack of service. The directive seemed to be that the busboys would clean everything off the tables once the patrons left. We noticed they quickly cleaned and reset the tables. So - if you don't want to sit with a table full of dirty dishes after you're done eating while you may want to relax with another cup of coffee, go across the street to Dino's.

We went here for a late late late night snack and were surprised to see how many people were there just casually eating ( like 1am is a perfectly normal meal time). We ordered the eggs with hash a big basket of fried stuff. The hash was pretty standard and good but the basket of fried goodies was stomach churning. I'd recommend avoiding if you don't plan on having a heart attack in the near future.

I lost count of how many pancake houses were on the strip. Every other store is a pancake house! At first I was thinking about taylor ham and eggs, but then I realized I was still half asleep. There is no such thing as taylor ham south of philly/NJ. Anyway, we picked this place on the way out of the area at 6:40am. The service was great and fast, the food was decent. We were on our way in no time. Oh and no, there is nothing special about the pancakes.

What a great find in North Myrtle Beach! It was late and we were tired of bar food, plus main street was crowded from the SOS shag week people in town. (If we knew about shag week we probably would have stayed a different week.) Our bodies were off normal dining schedules since we arrived late the first night from up north so we got into the habit of eating dinner late (didn't eat the first night until after checking into our hotel). Plus we would spend mornings at the beach and not eat lunch until late afternoon. So by the time we wanted dinner at 10/11 PM, we searched Yelp and called this place to confirm if they are open. Perfect hours for us - they don't open until 10 PM! The staff were very nice and the food was good and reasonably priced. I opted for non-breakfast food and my friend ordered breakfast. At the waitress' suggestion I had the grilled ham and cheese - the only down side is that the cheese seemed to be processed or velveeta, while I would have preferred better quality cheese.

I was 6 hours overdue for dinner. I was really tired and generally irked. They filled me up and treated me right. And all that for $10 even. At 2AM. Unreal.

Great food! I had the BLT egg sandwich on rye. It was perfect! Boyfriend had an omelette. We both enjoyed our meals. Would come back!

Bad service and poor food. The table and chairs were so dirty that my wife pulled out her saniwipes to clean the area so we could eat.

Great restaurant with options for everyone! It is open from 10pm to 2pm, so perfect for those midnight cravings! It's a local favorite, and rightfully so. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Everything is made to order and fresh as can be!

Gluten free waffle MADE MY MONTH. Yes it cost $8.50. But it was perfect Belgian fluffiness: Worth. It. Everything else was exactly what you expect at a super busy beach breakfast joint.

Ate there twice. Kids food is solid but made the mistake of ordering Eggs Benedict. Eggs were hard boiled they were so over poached. Mentioned it to waitress and management and recieved no recompense.

I am always a fan of a place that will let me order 1 pancake with whatever I decide to eat. The menu is pretty much the same as any pancake house in Myrtle Beach. They offer waffles, pancakes, steak & eggs, chops & eggs, french toast... So why choose this place you ask. Well if you don't want to look like a newbie in Myrtle Beach, take your friends and family to this place. They will soon figure out that most of the people that eat here are all locals. A place where they do not care what you look like nor what you are wearing. The hostess will greet you with a genuine smile and ask how you are doing, and actually mean it. I have even witnessed the hostess praying with someone that was having a bad day. The food is actually pretty good, but please remember to order your food by number. I would recommend the omelets or pancakes if it is your first time there. If you are feeling risky go ahead and get a Belgium waffle with fruit toppings. You will not regret it.

This was the best thing I ate the whole weekend in north myrtle beach. I had the French toast and my husband had the plantation special and they were both delicious. It was also really well priced!

awesome food and tacky decor. I felt like I was having breakfast in Vegas. that's not a bad thing seeing as it was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. the best part was when one of the waitresses had an emotional breakdown. it had something to do with a guy that was being mean to her. i couldnt tell if it was business related or personal but i did enjoy the part when the manager went to console her by repeatedly saying "men are jerks and then you get married to one." ENTERTAINMENT! Aside from all of that, everything I ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I do recommend.

First time in the restaurant. Came here last night after a concert because most other places were closed. The waitresses that were on duty gave us dirty looks when we were being seated like they were not pleased they had to get up off their asses and serve us. Ordered some coffee and the waitress poured it into a dirty coffee cup. I started wiping residue off the side and she replaced the cup. The coffee tasted like it was from 4 days ago. I ordered a blueberry waffle /fries and my wife ordered a Philly cheese steak and fries. My waffle tasted like a knock off eggo and the blueberries were disgusting. They tasted like they had been frozen and re thawed 15 times. My wife could barely stomach her sandwich it was so gross and I've had better fries from the frozen food section at a grocery store. The menus were sticky and the feeling of everything was just dirty. Over all it was just a crappy experience. The only pleasant part was the guy who rang us up at the front register. We will never come back here. Maybe they were having a bad night but it was enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

My Wife and I ate late here the other night around 2:00 am, only place around that was open. The food was pretty good so we came back today for a second helping. The place was packed for an early afternoon late mourning rush. I ordered a gyro & feta omelette and my wife two eggs, two turkey patties with hash browns and a biscuit. Our waitress was very nice and quick getting us our food. All for $18.00 its good place to eat.

Standard breakfast house menu items, nothing special but it's good and open until 2:00 am. No fresh fruit or real butter but otherwise the restaurant is clean and we had a pleasant experience.

Who the hell is giving this place 5 stars? By far one of the nastiest breakfast places I've been to. Worse than Denny's/IHOP. The sign when you walk in says "Gluetin free" pancakes. Spellcheck anyone? I ordered a fairly simple meal, one egg, bacon, grits and one buckwheat pancake. My pancake tasted like it was made with glue. The coffee was terrible. Wasn't enough half and half to disguise the taste.

We wanted some good food after our putt-putt date night. It was so good! Our waitress was so great, her name was Sheila! She was so funny and was great with our food order! The breakfast food was exactly what we were wanting. We will be back as soon as possible! Thanks, Sheila!

Gluten free pancakes were super yummy, definitely nice that they offered them. Very friendly staff and clean diner. Breakfast was good and came out fast. Would recommend for a quick bite! It's diner food so I wouldn't say it's the best food I've ever had, but it sufficed!

The service here was fast but a bit to fast. I felt really rushed. However the breakfast was reasonabley priced for the average tasting food. Hubby and I went twice while in Myrtle Beach and would go back again.

Large portions, great prices, and everything is made from scratch. My only complaint would be that the service needs some work because we felt a bit rushed while there other then that highly recommend it.

Stopped in at PPH after finding a reference to gluten-free pancakes. I'm glad I found the on-line reference, because the GF pancakes aren't listed on the menu. (They were listed on the specials board, but I didn't see that until I was paying the check.) Firstly, the place gets props for even having GF pancakes. I've found very few in my travels, so the boss doesn't get them on the road very often. The regular blueberry pancakes were as good as I've ever had. The stack of 3 huge pancakes was more than I could eat, and, believe me, I can eat! I had sausage patties on the side, and they were quite good. The link sausages the boss had were good, but my vote goes to the patties. The gluten-free pancakes were a tad under done- I believe they need to be cooked on a slightly cooler grill for just a little longer than regular pancakes. PPH has only been offering the GF cakes for about 6 months, so I expect adjustments will come. From a service standpoint, you won't find better! The hostess/manager was friendly and prompt. The server, Renee, was fantastic! Friendly, fast, and attentive.

Very solid breakfast food. A North Myrtle Beach institution. I'm a fan of their Belgian waffles, very crispy and the toppings are quite tasty. I've been there twice so far and I had apple-cinammon once and strawberry. Apple cinnamon lacked too much cinnamon flavor but went fantastically with the warmth of the waffles. Strawberries are like those you'd get on a sundae; by themselves nothing spectacular but good with whipped cream. This isn't the type of place that would get creative with flavor combinations, but I have to say they do a good job at what they do: standard diner food. Kudos for the the service. Servers are always very friendly and, even though the restaurant usually has a lot of customers, I've gotten my food very quickly.

It's pretty good food, old fashioned restaurant, a great selection... Pancakes and French toast were really good!

Not too bad. A little over priced for breakfast but that's to be expected at Myrtle Beach. Stuffed french toast was very good. Decor and carpet are really old and seem very dirty. A good deep clean would help.

Visited Myrtle Beach this past week and the Plantation Pancake house was my "go-to". Brandy (the waitrees) was awesome - great service. The food tasted homemade - just like I was eating at a friend's house. The lunch special was a great value at $6.00!! Breakfast was really delish. Bonus, they open at 10pm so that you can get a late night dinner/snack after hanging out.

The search for excellent breakfast in Myrtle Beach certainly won't be ending here. As busy as the place was, we were hoping for an amazing breakfast. The food however, was rather mediocre. Probably a 2.5 more than a 3 star. The coffee left a lot to be desire. I had the stuffed French toast with strawberry topping and a side of bacon. The French toast was tasty, but arrived at the table at room temperature. The bacon was good, I always ask for extra crispy and they delivered. Everyone else with me seemed to agree that the good was good, but not great. The service was fairly good considering that the place was packed. Not the worst place I've eaten, but I probably won't be coming back here.

The best breakfast we found! Bacon bacon bacon! Whatever you get... Get it with bacon! Coffee was strong but very good! Customer service was better than a lot of the "big" restaurants.

I had pretty high hopes for this place, sat morning, looked like a busy little place, so we decided to stop in and see how it was. The food was ok, nothing really all that spectacular. I had the steak and eggs, the steak was cooked right but was pretty bland and more fatty than anything else. The stuffed strawberry French toast was ok, the cream cheese/cinnamon/sugar stuffing was good, not too sweet. The pancakes and buckwheat pancakes were not impressive that some of my family ordered. You could get a breakfast of equal or better quality at ihop/Denny's. Service was ok, staff was friendly but seemed very disorganized, ex waitress asked "where does this food go?" And placed food in front of wrong people. Overall I would give it about a 2.7 for quality and 3 for service/staff

This place was as expected - down home country cooking. The waitress and hostess were very friendly and we felt completely welcome and a dreadful day of pouring rain. The coffee was lackluster but the pancakes held their own. My wife got eggs over ard with home fries and they were good. My Daughter ordered chocolate chip pancakes and the lovely waitress gave her lots of whipped cream. The highlight of the meal was the sausage - really delicious. I consider this place good enough to come back and next time we will try the omlettes.
